Hello and welcome to the 4.1 changelog!
Firstly, a huge thanks to all of you who upvoted us on Product Hunt and helped us reach 2nd place in Product of the Month last month. We’ve been heads down again this month working on the new Platform product and bringing some highly requested features to our Teams plan. We didn’t take much time to rest after the big release, so we also have our usual roundup of improvements, fixes and updates with our engineering team keeping up their relentless pace of shipping!
SMS reminders for teams
Reminders are key to running successful scheduling and keeping attendance rates high and no-shows are extremely costly to a business of any size. To help small businesses with this problem, we have shipped the ability for teams to send people SMS reminders. To send an SMS reminder, once you’re on the team plan all you have to do is create a workflow and you can choose to Send an SMS reminder to Attendees and a specific number. You can also send WhatsApp and email reminders.
Create a reminderCreate group events from your member list
One of our best features is also one of our most hidden. With Cal.com, you can create group events by combining any username with a “+”. Want to book Peer and Bailey? Simply type cal.com/peer+bailey into your address bar. This month we’re bringing this feature a little more to the surface within your Organization member table. Go to your Organization members table, select any number of users and you will have the option to generate a group link ready to copy and share!
Try it outTip of the month: View team availability
With our Cal.com team’s product, you can view all your team members' availability across multiple timezones in one beautiful view. Need to whether your team is covering 10 am - 12 am PDT? This view has your answer. If no one is available, you can click on a team member and adjust their hours, or make them available on a one-off basis with a date override!
Improvements, fixes & updates
We now trigger an alert for Org admins when potential bookers loading a calendar results in no availability found so you can investigate your member’s availability and never miss a potential booking.
We now correctly pass query param to dynamic/group bookings to ensure we select the right duration based on the value passed in URL.
We added a really nice new feature that shows the avatar and name of person who you have booked on a round robin event so you know who you will be meeting.
When setting a custom redirect on booking, you can now also forward the parameters such as ?email=, &name=.. and more

With the new OOO feature, we have now removed the “Away” feature.
We fixed an issue where emails were not sending to people if they had a “:” in the “from” name.
Since Recurring bookings are not possible to combine with Payments, we now hide that tab if payments are enabled.
As usual, there were many many more fixes and you can view them all here.
