Hi there! As we approach the holiday season, we’re here with another roundup of updates to keep you in the loop! This month, we’re bringing you major improvements to scheduling speed, new company-wide integrations, and enhanced Salesforce-related features.

Faster scheduling with Google Calendar caching

We’ve introduced caching for events on connected Google Calendars, reducing the need to repeatedly query Google for busy times. When changes occur on your calendar, a webhook notification ensures the cached data stays up to date. This improvement significantly speeds up loading times for team events with multiple calendars and delivers a 300-500ms boost for individual booking pages, making the scheduling process much faster! This feature will be available to everyone in the coming weeks. If you’d like to enable it now, please reply to this email and let us know.

Streamlined Google Workspace integration for your team

We’re introducing domain-wide delegation to make managing Google Workspace integrations easier than ever. This feature allows Google Workspace admins to grant permissions to third-party apps on behalf of all users in their organization. For example, an admin can set up credentials in the organization settings on Cal.com, enabling automatic connections to Google Calendar and Google Meet for all workspace users. No more individual setup—admins can handle it all, saving time and effort for everyone! New Salesforce integration features

We see great value in enhancing Salesforce integration through seamless data exchange, so this functionality has remained a high priority for us over the past month. We've introduced several improvements, including:

• Writing booking question responses to attendee records.

• Mapping booking response values to the 'Company' field in Salesforce leads.

• Recording assignment reasons tied to Salesforce ownership.

• Adding the option to ignore added guests when creating new records.

• Improving account searches by using attached websites.

• Enabling routing form responses to sync directly with Salesforce records.

We believe these enhancements will enable you to manage your data with greater efficiency and ease!

New features

• Chatbase.co, an AI chatbot website embed, has integrated with Cal.com.

• We've added a new feature that enhances host routing with attribute-based weighting, allowing attribute weights to override event type weights for more precise matching. #17567

• Now, you can analyze your routing forms input in the Insights tab and choose your preferred view. #17583, #17715

• We now translate the event type description using AI. Currently supported languages are: English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Russian. #17651

• We've enhanced Okta support by enabling SCIM syncing for user events, allowing custom attributes to sync seamlessly with Cal.com when predefined. #17805

• We've updated the platform to let all users create a team with any valid email, not just company emails. Each team now also gets a unique slug. #17707

• We've introduced an auto-fill feature that instantly populates returning attendees' names, surnames, and phone numbers in the booking form, making the process much faster. #15437

• We've added a text filter for attributes on the organization member list, featuring operators like Is, Is not, Contains, Does not contain, Starts with, Ends with, Is empty, and Not empty. #17632

• We've added the ability to display the assignment reason for bookings created through a routing form. #17791

• You can now add overlapping OOO (out of office) dates and set OOO dates retroactively for better tracking. #17373

• We've improved the /settings/organizations/general page by hiding the Update button for non-owners, preventing confusion and ensuring a clearer user experience. #17883

• We now display user attributes in members' profiles for better visibility. #17920

• We now display no-shows, including guests and hosts, in the Insights dashboard for improved tracking. #17919

• We've updated the booking confirmation page to display the "Add to calendar" section, making it easier for customers to add events to their calendars and reducing no-shows. #17761

• We've added long-awaited webhook support for Managed Events, allowing parent and child webhooks to trigger together when an event occurs. #17986

• You now can’t reschedule past bookings. Clicking ‘Reschedule’ for past bookings now redirects to the booking link. #18003

Improvements & fixes

• We've updated the behavior for disabling 'Add all team members, including future members.' Now, current hosts will remain listed, but future members will no longer be added automatically. #17747

• We’ve enhanced the queue position preview for routing forms. #17552

• We've updated the scheduling feature to allow selecting a date range for timezone changes, instead of being limited to a single day. #18045

• We’ve optimized team and organization admin checks by removing unnecessary member data fetching, simplifying team admin verification, and refactoring organization admin checks for improved efficiency. #17681, #17683

• We've fixed an issue where bookings were not being added to shared Outlook calendars. #17760

• We’ve updated the CalendarSettings atom to show a "Selected Calendars" heading with an add button when no calendars are connected, improving usability (Platform). #17579

• We’ve fixed the email formatting for ooo redirect notification. #17829

• We now send attendees an email with updates when a booking is reassigned, ensuring they have the correct meeting link and calendar event details. #17836

• We’ve added some improvements to the Members tab for easier navigation. #17911

• We’ve updated rescheduling to avoid forcing the same Round Robin host if rerouting is involved, ensuring availability by considering a broader set of users. #17511
